After the initial collapse of the dark empire with the sacking of Dilae'Morefellus, the Willow Lord was pressed for soldiers, the Dwale Cloning factories completely destroyed. The Fladergloon, an experiment that had been less useful at the time, were now brought out and placed on the front lines of battle. Slow moving and weak, the Fladergloon's only advantage was in theri relentelessness... Killing them was near impossible, as any fragment, no matter how small, would grow to a full Fladergloon warrior, given enough time. The only solution was a careful scouring of every battle, burning the Fladergloon bodies outright or any corpses that might have become carriers for the spores.
